Terms of Service

These terms are between you and InterviewPilot, which operates InterviewPilot. Using the service means accepting them.

You need an account to take an interview, and the details on it must be accurate — an interview record only means something if it belongs to the person who sat it. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16.

Practice sessions are yours. They are not monitored, nothing about your behaviour is recorded, and no company ever sees them. Nothing you do in practice affects any application anywhere. You can delete a practice interview and its report at any time.

Turning the camera on is optional and the interview works without it. If you do, the analysis runs on your own device and no video is uploaded.

Practice is free for your first 5 interviews and paid after that — see §9. That limit never applies to an interview a company invited you to.

An interview you reach from a company's apply link is that company's process, not ours. They set the questions and the scoring, they see the result, and they decide the outcome. We run it for them.

• It stays with them. The result never appears in your history, your profile, any leaderboard, or any other company's view.
• You are told the terms before you start. Whether you get a feedback report, and when, is stated on the apply page and in your invitation before you begin.
• Your report arrives by email if the company releases it, as a link that works without signing in and expires after 30 days. It is not kept in your account.
• Nothing rejects you automatically. A person at the company reads the result and decides, and their name is recorded against that decision.
• It costs you nothing. Not the interview, not the report, not a second attempt if the company offers one. Our practice allowance does not apply to it and is not spent by it, so running out of practice interviews can never stop you sitting one of these. See §9.

To see, correct or delete an interview you sat for a company, ask that company — they decide what happens to it. Write to us if you are not sure who to ask.

• Sit an interview as someone else, or have someone else sit one as you.
• Scrape or bulk-extract anything from the service, or try to work out how the assessment scores you in order to defeat it.
• Upload anything unlawful or anything you have no right to share.
• Interfere with the service or work around its limits. If you find a security problem, tell us — we will work with you.
• Harass anyone in the community. Automatic screening can block a post; only a person ever suspends an account.

Said plainly, because you have no other way to find it out.

• It does not decide whether you are hired. It produces a report and quotes the answers behind it. A person decides.
• It does not promise you a job, and a score is not a prediction of how you would do in one.
• Its scores can be wrong. Reports are generated automatically. Every score in a company interview quotes what you actually said, so it can be checked against the transcript rather than taken on trust.
• It cannot prove anyone cheated. In a company interview the session records things like tab switching. Those are observations with innocent explanations, they go to a person to read, and they are never treated as proof.

The software and the way assessments are put together are ours. What you say in an interview is yours. Where you interviewed for a company, that company may use your answers to assess that application and for nothing else.

We do not use your answers to train models. We may use aggregated statistics that identify nobody to improve the service.

The service is provided as it is, without a guaranteed uptime. We may change or remove features.

An interview a company invites you to is free to you. Always, however many you sit. The company pays, and it may not charge you to apply. Nothing in this section applies to those, and no future change to our pricing can put a price on being considered for a job.

Practice you start for yourself is different: it is a tool you are using, not an application you are making. Your first 5 practice interviews are free. Beyond that you may buy more, in packs, at the prices shown on the practice pricing page. Nothing renews and there is no subscription, so you are never charged for a month you did not intend to buy.

Practice interviews you have bought do not expire. If we withdraw the practice product, or raise a price you have already paid, anything unused is refunded. Payments themselves are not switched on yet; while that remains true, practice is free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities or a hiring decision made by someone else using the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us, which for a candidate is nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms; for a candidate account that is always a human decision, never an automated one.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated at the top and notified to registered users. They are governed by the laws of India.
